Q. What makes your service different than other DJ services?


A. Our company was started in 1985 and are members in good standing with N.A.M.E. & NJDJA. We also attend national trade shos and conventions as well as seminars monthly & yearly to keep up on the tends and standards set in the professional DJ business

Q. How do I submit my music list and special requests.

A. Please visit our music database on our website.  
All requests are due 30 days prior to your event.

Q. Why is Party Time DJ's a better choice than a band?

First of all, DJ Entertainment have always been known to provide a wider variety of music than a band. Party Time DJ's can play anything from Big Bands, 50's Rock-n-Roll, 60's Rock-n-Roll& Motown, 70's Rock-n-Roll & Classic Disco, 80's Dance Music, 90's Top 40, & Today's Greatest Hits - by the original artist! In addition, Party Time DJ's play continuous music throughout the entire event without taking any breaks.

Q. How do I go about previewing your services?

A. Party Time DJ's offer private video presentations of all of out talented Party Time Entertainers at our convenient office located in Paramus, NJ. Please call for office hours and to set an appointment for viewing. We will then mail you an appointment card enclosed with the address and directions.


Q. Can we pick the kind of music we want to hear?

A. Absolutely! Party Time DJ's, in fact, will provide you with a comprehensive music list which allows you to customize the music to your personal tastes. We can even accommodate special requests from your guests at the party.


Q. Will Party Time DJ's handle the emceeing of my affair?

A. Certainly! Every Party Time DJ is professionally trained to act as a Master of Ceremonies when needed, and can coordinate any announcements and activities. He will also work with the Banquet Manager, Photographer, and Videographer to ensure a smooth party all around.


Q. Do you have a reference list available?

A. Yes. Party Time DJ's has plenty of satisfied clients who would be glad to tell you about their positive experiences with our company. Party Time DJ's is also recommended by many of the finest hotels and catering facilities in the Tri-State area.

Q. How long have you been in business?

A. Party Time DJ's has been serving the Tri-State area with consistently exciting entertainment since 1985. We are proud to have entertained hundreds of thousands of people at affairs including Anniversaries, Baptisms, Banquets, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Birthdays, Christenings, Communions, Confirmations, Dances, Engagements, Graduations, Holiday Parties, House Parties, Night Clubs, Picnics, Proms, Reunions, Retirements, Stage Shows, and our specialty Weddings. We have a large staff of Party Time DJ's, all of which are professionally trained.


Q. Do you have liability insurance?

A. Yes. Party Time DJ's is fully insured to meet the liability requirements of all catering facilities.

A. We are ready to help you reserve your last minute DJ event, however we usually recommend booking 6-12 months before your date. This provides you with more choice of available Party Time Entertainers, and ensures Party Time DJ's will be available for your affair. For the more busy months like May, June,September, October, and December, more advance notice is suggested.

Q. What form of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders, and Online Credit Card payment through PayPal.com for your deposit. The remaining balance must be paid to the DJ upon arrival in cash, certified check or money order only. Any other payment arrangements must be approved in advance.

Q. What kind of setup and electrical requirement do you have?

A. We only require a standard electrical outlet and one eight foot table. It is also advisable to set Party Time DJ's up near the dancefloor, to ensure better sound quality for your affair.

Q. Are you available for ceremony and cocktail hour music?

A. Yes. For a minimal fee, Party Time DJ's will provide appropriate music for your ceremony and cocktail hour. If there are separate rooms involved, an additional sound system can be provided.

Q. If we extend the party, what will overtime cost?

A. Our standard rate for overtime starts at $50.00 per half hour or $100.00 per hour & up depending on your package. This can be booked at the time of the party.


Q. What are the cancellation procedures should I cancel my date?

A. As stated in our contract, deposits are non-refundable. However, if you cancel at least three months prior to your date, we can credit your deposit toward any other function up to three months from the date of the cancellation, subject to availability.


Q. Should I provide a meal for the Party Time DJ(s) at my party?

A. While it is not required by contract, many clients do provide a meal. Even though the party may be for only four hours, the Party Time Entertainer and/or the DJ Music Mixer has to travel to the affair, spend time setting up, and eventually breaking down- all of which make up for about a 7 - 8 hour day.


Q. Is it customary to provide a gratuity to the Party Time Entertainer and/or DJ Music Mixer?

A. Yes, many clients do tip their Party Time Entertainer and DJ Music Mixer.


Q. How long do you play for?
A. All of our packages include four hours of continuous entertainment. After that, you can book additional hours starting at $100.00 per hour & up depending on your package. There is no time limit to evening affairs, but a time limit may apply to an afternoon affair.
